The New York Jets are trading quarterback Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported the Jets are getting a 2024 sixth-round pick in return for Wilson and a 2024 seventh-rounder. New York is also picking up some of the financial commitment owed to him for the upcoming season.
Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft, spent his first three seasons with the Jets. His tenure was an unmitigated disaster, with Wilson sitting high on the list of biggest draft busts in franchise history.
